Grants

The Louise and Göran Ehrnrooth Foundation gives grants for long-term innovative pilot projects. The grants should be of significance for the Foundation as well as the receiver.

The Foundation awards grants within its six focus areas: Business & Industry, Agriculture & Environmental Protection, Society, Awards, and Culture.

The Louise and Göran Ehrnrooth Foundation awards annual grants of a total value of approximately 1 million euros.

The Foundation currently supports two student exchange programs between the U.S. and the Nordics.

The Foundation was among the first supporters of the Baltic Sea Action Group and still supports the organization. The Foundation also supports the Nature and Game Management Trust Finland and sustainable agriculture through support to the Biodynamic Association Finland.

Society

The Foundation supports the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare, the Leadership Award in Memory of Infantry General Adolf Ehrnrooth and the Ice Hearts Association that prevents youth marginalization. The foundation is also supporting the global network for social entrepreneurs Ashoka’s establishment in Finland.
